Green Fashion Internet TV Series Debuts
The Green Fashionista
, a green fashion Internet TV series, launches today. The series covers topics such as organic fabrics, celebrities who dress green, and green versions of current fashion trends. It also offers practical style advice including reusing and recycling tips. The first episode discusses how to be a green fashionista in a tough economy. The mini episodes are distributed through several outlets including the series' website.
As going green is becoming more popular, many people are seeking more green fashion information by reading eco-fashion blogs and websites. Watching The Green Fashionista offers an additional way to get green fashion facts, tips and how-tos. The episodes, averaging between 2 and 3 minutes, provide a convenient and entertaining format - short enough for even the busiest fashionistas.
"More and more women want to move toward being more green, but they still want to look stylish. We want to empower them by showing how to make eco-friendly clothing choices that look fabulous and help save the planet. It's all about going green in the fashion scene," says Pam Brandon, green fashion expert, and host of The Green Fashionista.
The first episode's theme, "How to Be a Green Fashionista in a Tough Economy", is one that many can appreciate during this recession. It encourages women to take simple steps to being green on a budget such as reusing what you already have in different ways, and going to clothing swap parties.
Brandon has been a fashion stylist and wardrobe consultant for many years, emphasizing green options. The Green Fashionista is produced and distributed by Red Purse Productions.
