Reebok to Produce Eco-Friendly Super Bowl Championship Tees
Reebok’s
Super Bowl Championship locker room Tees worn by the winning team following Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay, FL will be made using eco-friendly, 100% organic cotton fabric.
The Tees feature fabric made from organic cotton yarn, hang tags made of recycled materials and signature green stitching on the shoulder and inside neck seams, which distinguishes the product as official organic Super Bowl Locker Room Tees.
These new, eco-friendly Tees are available for a limited time at select retail outlets. Fans interested in purchasing the shirts may log on to Reebok.com, NFLshop.com or visit their local sporting goods retailer immediately following Super Bowl XLIII.
In addition, later this year, Reebok will introduce Reebok Sustain, a new line of eco-friendly NFL licensed apparel. The line will include products made of recycled polyester, as well as products made from 100% organic cotton. The Reebok Sustain line of NFL apparel will be available prior to the 2009 NFL season.
